The short version

Feel Free Classic is a tonic that leans on kava as much as kratom, and adds lion’s mane, rhodiola and kola nut on top. It’s alcohol-free and made in an FDA-registered cGMP facility. Kanva Focus + Flow strips the extras out and concentrates what’s left: roughly 70–80mg of mitragynine and 350–400mg of kavalactones in the same 2oz footprint, nano-emulsified for a faster onset than a conventional shot.

The clearest signal is who each brand aims at. Kanva tells you in their own marketing that Focus + Flow is for experienced users. Feel Free doesn’t carry that framing. If you’re choosing between them and you haven’t had either, that difference matters more than any number in the table.

The rest of the shelf

If both of these sound like more than you want, Zana Chill is the lightest bottle we carry and splits into two servings. If you want kava without any kratom at all, the Krave line is the kratom-free lane. Or see all the shots compared at once.

Feel Free vs Kanva FAQ

What is the difference between Feel Free and Kanva Focus + Flow?
Feel Free Classic is a 2oz kava-and-kratom tonic from Botanic Tonics that also carries lion’s mane, rhodiola and kola nut in a pineapple-juice base. Kanva Focus + Flow is a 2oz kava and kratom extract shot with nothing else in it, carrying roughly 70–80mg of mitragynine and 350–400mg of kavalactones — the strongest shot on our menu. Feel Free is the broader blend; Kanva is the concentrated one.
Is Kanva Focus + Flow stronger than Feel Free?
On published label numbers, Kanva carries the higher mitragynine figure of the two — roughly 70–80mg per bottle, with the kratom extract equivalent to several grams of raw leaf, which is why Kanva markets it to experienced users rather than first-timers. Botanic Tonics prints Feel Free’s alkaloid content per serving on the bottle, so compare the actual batch label. We don’t make effect claims about either product.
What does nano-emulsified mean on the Kanva bottle?
Kanva breaks the botanical extracts into much smaller particles so they disperse more readily in liquid. The practical effect the company claims is a faster onset — around three to five minutes rather than the ten to fifteen typical of a conventional shot. That’s Kanva’s claim about their own formulation, not a health claim from us.
I have never had either. Where should I start?
Not with Kanva — the brand itself points Focus + Flow at experienced users. Zana Chill is the usual starting point on our menu: a 60ml bottle designed as two 30ml servings at about 12.5mg mitragynine each, so you can take half. Feel Free sits between the two.
Do both contain kratom?
Yes. Feel Free Classic contains kratom leaf, and its label carries the manufacturer’s note that it can be habit-forming if not used as directed. Kanva Focus + Flow is built on kratom extract alongside kava. If you want a shot with no kratom in it, the Krave line is pure kava — or kava blended with reishi and lion’s mane.
Can I get either one in San Diego?
Yes — both are on the menu. Most orders ship within 1 business day, in plain unmarked packaging with nothing on the outside.
