Why the apps skip it

It isn’t about the product being obscure — plenty of San Diego shops sell kratom. It’s about age restriction. Kratom is a 21+ purchase here, and the big platforms only handle age-restricted goods through programs built specifically for them: alcohol delivery has its own ID-scanning flow, its own driver training, its own liability structure. Not the major ones. DoorDash’s policies don’t permit kratom listings, Uber Eats doesn’t publish it as an allowed category, and grocery apps only carry what’s in a store’s regular retail catalog.
