Mitragynine-A vs 7-OH

They’re built on different alkaloids from the same plant. Hydroxie Mitragynine-A is formulated around mitragynine — the primary, most abundant alkaloid in the kratom leaf — and tests with no detectable 7-hydroxymitragynine. The 7-OH line is formulated around 7-hydroxymitragynine, which occurs only in trace amounts naturally — and as of August 2026 it is federally scheduled and no longer sold. We make no health claims about either.

A brand name. “Mitragynine-A” (also written MIT-A) is Hydroxie’s product name for their enhanced mitragynine line — the same way MG-X is Dozo’s name for theirs. The underlying alkaloid, mitragynine, is what occurs naturally in the kratom leaf.

35mg per chewable tablet, scored so it splits into two 17.5mg servings. Hydroxie designed the split for dose control rather than taking a whole tab at once. Check the package for the current batch — formulations change.

As of August 2026, concentrated 7-OH is federally scheduled and the 7-OH line is off our menu. Mitragynine-A — built on the leaf’s primary natural alkaloid, with no detectable 7-OH — is the line we carry. Text us if you want to talk through the switch.
